RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a student employee, specializing in environmental and health protection inspection, who is interested in participating in and contributing to supervisory work. As a student employee in Stenungsund Municipality, you will have the opportunity to practice your academic knowledge through assignments within our operations, parallel to your studies. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, a mentor, valuable contacts, and a salary.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Support in supervision according to the Environmental Code
• Inventory and mapping of operations
• Collection and compilation of background material
• Participation in inspections together with case handlers
• Administrative tasks related to cases

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are studying to become an Environmental and Health Protection Inspector throughout the entire period (Autumn 2026), e.g., the course in environmental and health protection at the University of Gothenburg. • Are responsible, structured, and able to work independently
• Enjoy communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders
• Have good computer skills
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Previous experience from public operations or authority enforcement
• Interest in environmental issues, sustainability, or supervisory work
• Experience in administrative tasks or project work
